Legal BOOST

Beyond emergency intervention and shelter services, the most requested form of support by survivors or relationship/domestic violence is legal assistance. Survivors who receive even basic legal support are exponentially more likely to stay on a path of safety and independence.

To keep our life-saving services available, CCS relies nearly 100% on support from private individuals and groups to round out gaps in minimal government and foundation support to provide a dramatic wait list of survivors with services that they lack the funds to pay for:

  • Temporary restraining orders
  • Permanent restraining orders
  • Guidance for child custody and other protections
  • Court fees
