$530,000 Raised! Thank you!

Thank you for attending our 26th Annual Tea & Tonic! We were so honored to host you as well as our guest speaker, Amanda Nguyen, at the iconic Hotel del Coronado! Special thanks to our sponsors and the Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation for their generous support that positioned us to raise another record $530,000 for vital services to help survivors and prevent assault.

Because of you, our programs and services for survivors and prevention efforts in our communities remain strong. The critical funds raised by our Tea & Tonic event now exceed $500,000 annually. Thank you to Amanda Nguyen for being our 26th Annual Tea & Tonic guest speaker!

Amanda Nguyen is a survivor and leading force behind the Sexual Assault Survivor Rights’ Act in the United States, passed unanimously by both houses of Congress in 2017. She has championed the rights of survivors through the United Nations and her work at her nonprofit, Rise. She was nominated for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize and is a 2022 TIME Woman of the Year. Born and raised in Southern California, Amanda went on to study astrophysics at Harvard and recently became the first Vietnamese woman to go to space.

Amanda's debut memoir, Saving Five, was published in 2025 and details her healing journey from her assault at Harvard to passing her first law in Congress. It's available for order now at: www.saving5.com.

Start the Convo to raise awareness and end sexual assault. #StartTheConvo campaign is a call to action for every member of our community to give their support and #StartTheConvo around preventing intimate partner violence and sexual violence. We stand in solidarity with all survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We all have a role in ending violence.
