$150K Challenge Match

The Walter J. & Betty C. Zable Foundation has offered CCS a $150,000 challenge match! Every donation made during the “Raise a Paddle” appeal will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000! Your donation of $50 becomes $100, $500 becomes $1,000, and so on. If you are unable to join us for Tea & Tonic but would like to donate toward the match, click the button below! If you are attending Tea & Tonic, we hope you will raise your paddle during the appeal to double your impact!

The Speaker

Mira Sorvino

Academy award winning Actress and human rights activist, Mira Sorvino is an 18-year veteran of the fight against human trafficking. In 2009, she was appointed to her current position as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s Goodwill Ambassador in the Global Fight Against Human Trafficking. Sorvino has traveled the globe, working together with organizations on the ground and members of government and law enforcement to better synthesize efforts to discover and protect victims, and punish perpetrators.

In addition to her work in the fight against human trafficking, she is also an advocate on behalf of the victims and survivors of sexual assault, having recently emerged as a prominent voice in the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.
