Biography

David Parker

David has decades of experience in the insurance industry, including 16 years on the carrier side of the business and nearly four years as a sales executive. He has held pivotal roles during his career, including Call Center, Claims, Account Management, Sales, and Program and Project Management.


 In his current role as Business Development Director, David Parker provides support to Word & Brown Growth & Business Development and sales representatives by increasing production with existing business partners. He also prospects for new agencies. David conducts sales webinars, creates resources for brokers, and assists with elevated sales training.
   
 David is the immediate past President of the San Diego chapter of the California Agents and Health Insurance Professionals (CAHIP – San Diego), which he led for two years. In 2024, David joined Center for Community Solutions (CCS) Board of Directors and also serves on CCS’ Philanthropy Committee.
