Biography

Allison Gardenswartz

Allison Gardenswartz has worked in the education space for over 30 years. She currently serves as a private college counselor, private consultant, and parent educator throughout San Diego County. Previously, Allison served as the director of operations and educational programming for ImpACT on Stage, where she wrote and managed the curricula. Allison currently serves as a director on the board of Playwrights Project, and as a board member for Center for Community Solutions, a San Diego non-profit dedicated to ending relationship and sexual violence.

Allison opened her own learning center, The San Diego Learning Garden and successfully ran this center and educated hundreds of students for twelve years. She then joined the Soille HDS faculty as a resource specialist where she worked for many years and went on to become the principal.

Allison has previously served on various non-profit boards and has been a mentor for Promises to Kids and a leader of an adolescent book group with Words Alive. She has been married to her husband Daniel for over 30 years and has three grown children, Jacob, Sofia, and Ryan.
