Biography

Liza Pinard

In addition to serving on the CCS Board of Directors, Liza has supported survivors as a volunteer for CCS’ Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) from 2016 to 2018.

A native of Alabama, Liza moved to San Diego to attend the University of San Diego. She has spent the majority of her career working as an investigator, starting out in insurance fraud investigations, before moving on to delinquency and dependency investigations. For the past six years of her career, she worked as a dependency investigator with Children’s Legal Services, before making a career change to pursue a degree in nursing. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing and will graduate in May 2025.

Liza has volunteered and served on several non-profit boards in San Diego including the Junior League of San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary.
