Biography

Cori Austin

As Chief Executive Officer, Cori Manthorne Austin provides vital leadership, support and vision to the continued growth and success of Center for Community Solutions. With over two decades in the movement to end relationship and sexual violence and working with vulnerable and diverse populations. Cori is dedicated to strengthening organizational and community responses to violence.

Recognized as a leader in the field, Cori has served in numerous leadership positions including the San Diego County Domestic Violence Council, Board of Directors for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, the Steering Committee for the San Mateo County Continuum of Care, and a Citizen Review Panel under the California Office of Child Abuse Prevention. Some of her professional accomplishments include strategic partnerships with community leaders to develop a county-wide response to family homelessness, providing training and technical assistance to nonprofits focused on the development of trauma informed practices, culturally-responsive programming, and various publications on privacy issues for vulnerable populations. 

Cori earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology-Forensics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Resource Management. Other happy pursuits include spending time with her family, travel, and all things animals.

We stand in solidarity with all survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. We all have a role in ending violence.
