Our Mission

Our mission at Center for Community Solutions is to end relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice. Together we can make a difference. Learn more and get involved.

Service Delivery: Due to concerns with COVID-19, national and local public health guidance indicate the need for communities to make temporary adjustments. In an effort to do our part in reducing risk for our clients, staff, and the community, Center for Community Solutions has self-elected to have many of our staff work remotely. During this time, the shelters and hotline will remain open, and CCS staff will utilize virtual methods of communication to continue providing client services.

CCS is committed to helping survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault lead safer and healthier lives. Given the vital safety net found in CCS’ services, we will do all we can to ensure supports continue, particularly to survivors who may already feel isolated and alone. We will provide updates related to services and events as necessary over the coming weeks. Should you have any questions regarding service availability, please contact our hotline at 1-888-385-4657. For Legal Services updates, please visit:

We know that as a community we are capable of great resiliency through our perseverance. If we all do our part by making these tough decisions now, we know that it will help contribute to seeing an end to this pandemic. We thank you for your understanding, and wish everyone healthy days to come.

Tea & Tonic: Center for Community Solutions has made the difficult decision to postpone our Tea & Tonic event, which was scheduled for Thursday, April 30. The health and well-being of our vital donors, staff, clients, and community are our highest priority during this developing public health issue. We plan to reschedule Tea & Tonic for a later date, and are working diligently with our speaker and venue to obtain future dates.

On behalf of everyone at CCS, we are extremely grateful to our dedicated supporters for making the work we do on behalf of survivors possible. We will continue to provide updates as information is available.

News & Events

Bridging Hearts with CCS

Despite the challenges of COVID-19 CCS is still committed to providing a meaningful holiday for the clients we serve. Your generosity will bring lots of cheer to a survivor, a child, and/or an entire family this holiday season. For everyone's safety during COVID-19 we are asking for gift cards this year.
This allows for families to still receive much needed holiday support while mitigating our risk of spreading infection to our clients, staff and supporters.
For more information, to support a family or make a monetary donation to this program please visit our events calendar

Demin Day at CCS

This year, Center for Community Solutions asked individuals to participate in our virtual Denim Day campaign, "Put a Little Hope in Your Pocket," by submitting photos of decorated denim pockets. We received over 50 denim pocket submissions showing support for survivors in a variety of creative ways!
