« Back To Stories I am a Victim of Domestic Violence I was in pretty bad shape when I started the program. I was very drained emotionally and physically. I had lost all hope and almost all my self-esteem. I was at the point of insanity when I left my husband and home with my child. I had no job, no home, no food and no money. But after going through the program, I realize that hope and faith were not totally lost. The minute I came here I felt safe and secure. I was shown ways and means and resources that could help me put my life back together. I did not feel helpless anymore, I had food for my child and myself, but most of all, I had someone to talk to and listen to me. « Back To Stories |
