2003 Liberty Run/Walk

On Sunday, June 8th, 2003 CCS was one of 5 agencies participating in the 2003 Liberty Run/Walk, Freedom from Domestic Violence. This one of a kind event is designed to raise funds and awareness for the various domestic violence service providers in San Diego County.


The route included a 4-mile run or walk over the Coronado Bridge. CCS was fortunate to have one of the largest corporate teams walk on their behalf, Teradata, a division of NCR. With the help of James Sanders, Teradata completed the walk with over 50 members on their team and also supported the event as a corporate sponsor. In addition, Pflum Graphics also sponsored the event and provided a walk team on behalf of CCS. Entertainment was provided compliments of Da Jamm Band and they did an excellent job at keeping the crowd moving.
