Cox Communications Supports Domestic Violence Awareness Month

In support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, CCS was awarded $10,000 from the Cox Communication, Cox Kids Foundation Fund. CCS was one of three local agencies to benefit from Cox Communications countywide efforts to educate the community on the issue of domestic violence.

CCS will utilize the funds to support their domestic violence prevention and intervention programs. In addition, in partnership with Cox Communications, CCS will be holding a free Community Day in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The event is scheduled for Saturday October 23rd from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and will include a variety of trainings and seminars on domestic violence prevention. All sessions are free and open to the public.

The success of CCS has always been attributed to the amazing support of the community. Partnering with Cox Communications is another wonderful example of the community working together to make a difference in the lives of San Diegans and making the community a safer and more peaceful place for all.
