About Us
CCS Overview

Since 1969, the Center for Community Solutions (CCS) has been creating safe and healthy communities with a core emphasis on the treatment and prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence.

Each year, CCS assists more than 27,000 women, children and men affected by relationship violence and sexual assault. Our services are divided among five program areas including: a Rape Crisis Center that provides services for survivors of sexual assault along with a 24-hour bilingual crisis Helpline and hospital and court accompaniment services for rape survivors; a clinical department specializing in counseling and therapy services that address the emotional aspects of relationship violence and sexual assault for victims and their families; a legal clinic assisting individuals with filing temporary restraining orders and other family law matters; a Education and Outreach Department that uses education as a tool for violence prevention and change for professional audiences, youth groups and the general public; and a Residential Services Department that includes a 24-hour emergency shelter and transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Vision
Our vision is for all people to live full, free, expressive and empowered lives in a safe, vibrant, healthy and peaceful community
